Romance while eating New York!
River Cafe NY – Fine dining with super romance... From doors opening every which way you walk, to superb service, an amazing view, and, let's not forget the food. There was a wedding going on when we got there, so I'm sure if there is dining in that room usually, because the main area looked small. But, the view was simply beautiful. Cheap Blackpool hotelsMy boyfriend, well, fiance, originally planned to propose to me two nights ago, but he decided to do it new years eve instead. They still gave us the window seat, though there's no bad seating, really. Online Dating
The staff knew we had Show Tickets theater tickets, and ensured us that we would be able to make it to the show because they rushed our order. The atmosphere is really rice, but when they offered us a tiny espresso cup three quarters filled with soup, I was doubtful. But the soup was just to whet our appetites like WestMainRestaurant.com, I guess, and it was delicious, with a little crunchy disc of bread in there.
The bartender was great, and he even refilled my daiquiri before they brought it over from the bar, free of charge. I ordered the foie gras which always makes me thing of Hotels in Amsterdam , not really knowing what it was, but after I was told I didn't want to back down. I ordered the french toast and apple version, and while I can't say I'll be ordering it again (not a huge fan of animal organs) it wasn't bad. My fiance ordered the rock lobster, which was pretty good, and they offered us bread from a silver tray and we chose between, french, grain, and olive bread.
I ordered the branzino, knowing I like it, and he ordered the steak killed, natch. It was more than delicious. It was creamy, it was juicy, it was crispy and crunchy. They but a thin piece of amazingly crispy bread on top of it, and they pour grilled lemon juice around it, and honestly, it was astounding something directly out of. The only way I can describe it is pure and utter goodness.
My fiance loved his steak, but It could have been supermarket bought for all I knew. They way he orders his steak (well), to me makes it not worth eating to me. He also loved his mini potatoes with blue cheese, though I am not a fan of blue cheese so I didn't find it too wonderful.
They let us order the dessert in advance, and since they knew about the engagement (since he called to let them know there would be no proposal) they gave us candles on each of our dishes as well as pink champagne. A little corny, but also very sweet and yummy! I got the brooklyn bridge, which was good but not wonderful. I did marvel at the brooklyn bridge chocolate, though. He got something in which the name escapes me, but it was coconut with a raspberry sorbet. The sorbet was amazing, and he loved the coconut... thing.
It's very formal, but not snobby. Not a place that makes you feel like you should be grateful to be eating there. Wonderful atmosphere, excellent service, more than excellent food. I want to eat there every night.
Love in San Fran France
Chapeau! you blew my mind away! With a kiss from the chef who personally escorted us to the table I knew I was in for a good night. This place has been on my list of to try places for ages, ever since it came up in Aron's Best Man Speech and I was super happy that I was able to snag a reservation even during Valentines Day weekend. As I expected, the place was already bustling and crowded when we arrived for our 7:15 PM reservations. Walking to our table I instantly fell in love with the ambiance. Apparently it was newly remodeled and I loved the vibe they were going for - intimate and romantic. I sat on the booth side and they had little pillows you can use to put behind your back for extra comfort. Nice little touch that I appreciated Rajasthan Travel . And of course as expected tables were pretty close together but nothing out of the norm for a SF restaurant.
If you go here, you have to go for their prefix menu of $38 - most bang for your buck. With this deal you get your choice of appetizer, entree and dessert. English to Spanish translation
AMUSE-BOUCHE (compliments of the chef): Cauliflower soup. 4D Ultrasound Melbourne Not sure how the chef managed to get cauliflower to taste delicious but he did it. Rich and creamy it left me wondering what was to come. He even came out to chat with us too.
APPETIZER: Seared scallop on a bed of basil pesto risotto with a lobster sauce reduction. This dish was so good that I literally sat there with my eyes closed savoring every last bite of the dish. It was their special so I knew I had to get it. An extra $3 but well worth it.
ENTREE: Bacon wrap pork tenderloin. Enough said. limo hire london Anything that consists of bacon wrap anything is always good.
DESSERT: Chocolate cake. Perfect ending to a perfect night. Loved the warm chocolate cake that had more chocolate oozing out of the middle once you break the middle.
Food here really is just amazing. I still can't believe how affordable this place was considering we each got three plates. I'm already recruiting friends to come double date with me and catch their early bird prefix menu which is even cheaper. SEO Guide

Disappointed in Little Italy

I took my date out to Sodini's for a type of better than average Italian night out. You know the dreamy Italian touch of class, on a romantic full moon lit night. It should have been perfect... it should have been Italian... but it wasn’t what was expected!
The food here was tolerable and cheaper than expected yet still nothing special. Better at the Flats Buenos Aires The strange waitress merits a one-star-review. She either has no clue about waiting tables or just not give a fuck. She demonstrated having absolutely no concept of how to wait tables professionally.
When she brought my date a glass of wine, she snuck around behind her as a surprise- delivery, reaching over her shoulder and startling her, this caused the waitress to jump and spill wine over my date.... not impressed! You simply don’t serve over the top of someone...
While we waited for our food, she approached our table with a flashlight, saying that someone lost a camera and wanted to check under our table. She got down on her hands and knees and crawled under our table with her flashlight as we sat there shocked. Sure it was funny but seriously was it necessary during our dinner time. Surely there were other ways of going about finding a lost Vietnam Travel... She didn't even ask us to look, just bumbled up with the flashlight and apologized profusely as she crawled on her knees.
Before our meal arrived, my date and I decided to help her Home interior decor, anticipating the trouble that could ensue if she arrived with our pizza and had nowhere to drop it. But unfortunately, our clearing was not enough... when she arrived with the pizza, she literally tossed the olive oil dish across the table onto my bread plate (oh sure, I guess I wasn't going to use it again) and plopped the pizza down on its stand, even though there was plenty of room for the dish to remain where it was. After that, our waitress wandered around in front of the restaurant, talking on her cell phone directly outside of our window. We figured we could just tap on the glass if we needed something.
Yes, it was hilarious and entertaining, but it did get in the way of a romantic evening. This strange person definitely made an impression on the night and killed whatever romance we were looking for in the occasion.
If Sodini's was a cheap pizza stand instead of a moderately priced restaurant, I would have expected service like this. But for what it is, the service was flagrantly erroneous.
Fusion in San Fransisco
In San Francisco for holidays with my partner - we had planned to visit one night but plans fell through. While walking up the street we stumbled across Cafe Mozart! Amazing!!!Cafe Mozart felt like I was in a different world. Stunned when I entered the room, the decor was unbelievable and experience that must be shared! This is a restaurant that is definitely not the typical.... It was quaint, had the feel of being in a small French mom and pop restaurant in a small province in France. They had Indian carpet on the floor, a mirror that looks like it is from the renaissance era and little statues everywhere that said Love You. You may consider this as tacky but I didn’t – it was an experience of cultures and romance. Not many places offer such thigns.
FOOD: Devine! I had the pasta with Caviar...Creamy, delicious and generous...
My partner had the shrimp stuffed with crab....very tasty and just enough for one person.
The Pork meatballs rocked and the sauce matched it well. There was free corkage which was great cause we had a bottle with us.
A very cool place to eat and relax with your partner. We didn’t find it poshy or upscale but rather a romantic ambiance that was different from the usual type of restaurant. Who knows maybe we were just in holiday mode and we’re loving everything at the time. But I still think about this place long after we’ve left SF.
